 1. Present Tense

a) Simple Present

Usage: For habits, facts, and general truths.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + Verb (base form) + Object
Example: She plays football.

Negative: Subject + do/does not + Verb + Object
Example: She does not play football.

Question: Do/Does + Subject + Verb + Object?
Example: Does she play football?

b) Present Continuous

Usage: For actions happening now or temporary situations.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + is/am/are + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She is playing football.

Negative: Subject + is/am/are not + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She is not playing football.

Question: Is/Am/Are + Subject + Verb (-ing) + Object?
Example: Is she playing football?

c) Present Perfect

Usage: For actions completed recently or having a connection to the present.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + has/have + Past Participle + Object
Example: She has played football.

Negative: Subject + has/have not + Past Participle + Object
Example: She has not played football.

Question: Has/Have + Subject + Past Participle + Object?
Example: Has she played football?

d) Present Perfect Continuous

Usage: For actions that started in the past and are still continuing.
Structure:
Positive: Subject + has/have been + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She has been playing football for two hours.

Negative: Subject + has/have not been + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She has not been playing football.

Question: Has/Have + Subject + been + Verb (-ing) + Object?
Example: Has she been playing football?

2. Past Tense

a) Simple Past

Usage: For completed actions in the past.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + Verb (Past form) + Object
Example: She played football.

Negative: Subject + did not + Verb (base form) + Object
Example: She did not play football.

Question: Did + Subject + Verb (base form) + Object?
Example: Did she play football?

b) Past Continuous

Usage: For actions happening at a specific time in the past.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + was/were + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She was playing football.

Negative: Subject + was/were not + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She was not playing football.

Question: Was/Were + Subject + Verb (-ing) + Object?
Example: Was she playing football?

c) Past Perfect

Usage: For actions completed before a specific time in the past.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + had + Past Participle + Object
Example: She had played football before the rain started.

Negative: Subject + had not + Past Participle + Object
Example: She had not played football.

Question: Had + Subject + Past Participle + Object?
Example: Had she played football?

d) Past Perfect Continuous

Usage: For actions that were ongoing up until a point in the past.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + had been + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She had been playing football for two hours before the rain started.

Negative: Subject + had not been + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She had not been playing football.

Question: Had + Subject + been + Verb (-ing) + Object?

3. Future Tense

a) Simple Future

Usage: For actions that will happen in the future.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + will + Verb (base form) + Object
Example: She will play football.

Negative: Subject + will not + Verb (base form) + Object
Example: She will not play football.

Question: Will + Subject + Verb (base form) + Object?
Example: Will she play football?

b) Future Continuous

Usage: For actions that will be happening at a specific time in the future.
Structure:
Positive: Subject + will be + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She will be playing football.

Negative: Subject + will not be + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She will not be playing football.

Question: Will + Subject + be + Verb (-ing) + Object?

c) Future Perfect

Usage: For actions that will have been completed before a certain time in the future.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + will have + Past Participle + Object
Example: She will have played football by 5 PM.

Negative: Subject + will not have + Past Participle + Object
Example: She will not have played football.

Question: Will + Subject + have + Past Participle + Object?
Example: Will she have played football?



d) Future Perfect Continuous

Usage: For actions that will have been ongoing for a period of time in the future.

Structure:
Positive: Subject + will have been + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She will have been playing football for two hours by 6 PM.

Negative: Subject + will not have been + Verb (-ing) + Object
Example: She will not have been playing football.

Question: Will + Subject + have been + Verb (-ing) + Object?
